The 37th edition of the Tunisian Handicraft Creation Fair
This year the 37th edition of the Tunisian Handicraft Creation Fair (Salon De Création Artisanale) is scheduled from June 25 to July 4th 2021. It takes place at the Kram Exhibition Center, not far from the Tunisian capital of Tunis. The event has a long history, The National Handicrafts Office (ONA) started the tradition in 1982.
This year's edition means a lot to the participants as the fair was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 crisis.
This show is an opportunity to probe the latest trends and novelties both in tableware, rugs and weaving, interior and exterior decorative items, clothing, and handmade fashion accessories which are often heirs of ancestral know-how.
This fair is stimulating for culture as well as for our economy and our craft businesses.
It has a threefold objective: to encourage craft creation, promote trades practiced throughout the country, and develop the sector through the promotion of products.
So on this occasion, we can discover the richness of Tunisian craftsmanship and the innovative power of the imagination of designers through their newest creations.
This edition will be marked by the participation of several exhibitors, operating in various craft activities, including weaving, jewellery, clothing, accessories, home decor and much more.
Participation is free of charge, which creates opportunities for artisans to express themselves and mark their presence, subsequently, they can position themselves in the market and enrich their experience.
