All southern knowledge in making berber tents is translated in this magnificent multicolored piece. The creation of the Mergoum follows strict rules that gives it authenticity. However, Mergoum offers a wide range of choices because of the imagination and creativity of artists who combine different forms of Berber and colors to produce unique rugs.  Our Mergoums are certified by The National Office of Tunisian Handicraft (from http://www.onat.nat.tn/) who issues a certificate of authenticity to the back of each Mergoum rug. This certificate contains information about the material used, the size and weight of the Mergoum and above all a proof that the Mergoum is handmade. This product is part of Tunisian handicrafts
